Hi, my name is Corbin! I grew up in Evanston, Illinois, but I've lived in Minnesota for the past 4 years. I recently graduated from UMN with a BA in Sociology and an additional focus in Integrative Neuroscience. In addition to photography, I work as a Case Manager in social services.

I have 9 years of experience as a photographer. My interest in photography was piqued by an intro to photo course my freshman year of high school, followed by a photography program at the School of the New York Times, which I was competitively selected for. Inspired by my photography teacher, Amy Moore, and Vivian Maier, I began as a street photographer. My work is heavily rooted in documentary, which has given me extensive experience in authentic storytelling.

Since I began photography, my work has received national and regional recognition, awards, and gallery features. This includes a Scholastic National Gold Medal honored at Carnegie Hall, during a ceremony featuring celebrity guest speakers and a recorded message from former First Lady Michelle Obama.



My work has been competitively selected for gallery display at the Pratt Institute Manhattan Gallery, Parsons School of Design Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, Scholastic Art.Write.Now Traveling Exhibition, the Arnot Art Museum, Perspectives Fine Art Photography, and other venues.
